1. Attention Club Presidents! All club presidents are requested at a meeting today at lunch in the LBHS library. Again, this Wednesday at lunch, all club presidents are requested in the library. 

2. Come hear from Baylor University and two more international colleges today.  We've got the University of Navarra, Spain and Hult International Business School.  All three will be here during tutorial.

3. Come to Club ROC today at lunch, in room 62. There will be pizza served. Everybody is welcome! 

4. Get your Dodgeball On! Wednesday, October 12th at LBHS gyms. WE-NEED-YOU!! Volunteers needed for Gym Set up/Breakdown, Referees, Time Keepers and Registration/Check In/General Event Help !!*High School Student Volunteers will be awarded community service hours. Come to the activities office for more information.

2. Join tech crew for LBHS Drama’s fall play: She Kills Monsters! Move sets, operate lights and sound, help with costumes and more. Participants can get community service. Email msherg@lbusd.org for more details. That’s “m s h e r g @lbusd.org.”

Breakers, it's happening!  The Regional Admissions Counselors of California will be hosting the Mock Admissions and College Fair tonight beginning at 6:30 PM in the Laguna Beach High School Library.  This is your chance to see what you need to do during high school to showcase your talents, and achievements and make yourself a standout when you apply to college.  RSVP today using the QR codes on the posters around campus or in the CCC.

4. We've got international colleges in the College & Career Center today!  The University of St. Andrews, Scotland will be here during tutorial and University College Dublin will be here at lunch.

Freshmen and Sophomores.  If you are interested in the medical field and would like to volunteer at Mission Hospital now is your chance to apply.  Applications are open now through October 17th at 11:59 PM. Students must be 15 years old to enter the volunteer program and committed to volunteer service year-round through graduation. To apply see Mrs. Gregory in the College and Career Center.

2. Hello Breakers!  Are you looking for a job?  Check out the job board on the College and Career Center canvas page.  The following businesses are looking to hire YOU: Banzai Bowls, Ralphs, Ruby's, Trader Joe's, BJ's and many more.

Do you wonder why some students get admitted into colleges while others do not?  Grades are absolutely important, BUT there is more to it!  Join us tomorrow, October 4th at 6:30 PM for the Mock Admissions event and College Fair to learn from admissions officers what colleges are looking for in their applicants. Be provocative and make your time at LBHS count! You can RSVP using the QR Codes on the flyers posted around campus or in the College and Career Center.

4. Breakers, are you taking advantage of all college admission visits we are hosting?  We have a wonderful line up this week! Penn State and Lehigh were here this morning, Butler University and University of Redlands will be here during tutorial and Cal Lutheran and Hawaii Pacific University are here at lunch. 

         If you are thinking about studying abroad you won't want to miss the University of St. Andrews in Scotland and           University College Dublin on Tuesday.

1. Music Production club is meeting today during lunch in room 27. This is a good opportunity to meet people who have an interest in creating and editing music. Come today to learn about the basics of Music Mixing.

2. Come join the Challenge Success club in Mrs. Foster's room for pizza and a discussion Today during lunch for our first meeting. 

3. Breakers! We will be clearing out the lost and found outside of the activities office this Friday. If you are missing items, please come and check the cabinet. All items will be donated this Friday. 

4. If you purchased last year's yearbook and have not received it please stop by the activities office to pick up your order. 

5. Come to the College Career Center today to hear from Loyola University of Chicago during tutorial and Cal State Fullerton during lunch.

Seniors, remind your parents that the Financial Aid Night is tonight at 6:30 in the library.  We'll go over all things money and college and answer any of their questions.

Also, a quick reminder that the Common App workshop with BB Prep is tomorrow night on zoom.  Register with the QR code on the signs around campus.  She'll take you through the app so that you are confident in it!

• SMU will be here during lunch.  Head to the College & Career Center to learn more about this school. 

• Seniors! The Parent Financial Aid Night is tomorrow from 6:30-8 in the library.  Tell your parents to come and feel free to come with them!  We'll be going over all things college and money.  You can RSVP on any of the flyers you see around school.

• Don't forget to register for the Common App workshop on Thursday night.  BB College Prep will walk you through it and answer all your questions.
