NCAA Eligibility

Interested in Playing College Sports?

If you plan to compete in NCAA Division I or Division II athletics, you must meet the NCAA's academic and amateurism eligibility requirements before you can compete, practice, or receive an athletic scholarship.

The first step is creating an account with the NCAA Eligibility Center, which reviews your academic records and athletic eligibility. Be sure to talk with your school counselor if you are interested in playing sports in college. They can check and review your eligibility.

Action Steps

Create an account during your junior year or before beginning the college recruiting process.
