  • Attention Seniors:  Our graduation product representative will be back on campus on Wednesday, October 25th to take your order for your cap and gown and other grad products. 
  • If you did not attend the assembly last Wednesday, please stop by the Activities Office and pick up a packet.
  • The Medical Careers Club will have a guest speaker, Chris Alvarez, an EMT who served in South Korea, at their meeting on Friday in room 64 at lunch.

  • Juntos is sponsoring a used clothing drive for victims of the earthquake in Mexico.  Please consider donating gently used clothing and shoes to the boxes located in English classrooms.

  • Congratulations to the Laguna Beach Girls Golf Team for finishing first in league and going undefeated with a 8-0 record.  The girls will compete in both team and individual CIF this week.  The Varsity team consists of the following players:

  • Movies can have an impact on our lives...make one!  Do you enjoy making movies?  Have you made a movie with your friends?  You can be the director and writer.... take charge!  "How do you see the world"? Enter a Movie to Reflections and express the theme...WITHIN REACH! .. DEADLINE  Friday OCT 27!  
  • Senior shirts are available in the Activities office for $10 cash or check only.

  • The Drama Department is interviewing potential crew members for the Fall Play, Night of the Living Dead.  If you are interested in working backstage on our technical crew, on the hair and makeup team, or as an usher, interviews will be held at 4:00pm tomorrow in Room 55, the Greene Room.  You do not need to sign up for a specific interview time - just come by the Greene Room at 4:00pm tomorrow.  Crew members have an opportunity to earn community service hours for their contribution to the production.

  • Show your spirit this week for Spirit Week!  Tomorrow is Stripes Day, Wednesday is Country Club Day, Thursday is Hippie Day, and wear your class colors on Friday!        
  • Juniors and Seniors: Save the date for Mock College Admissions night, Wednesday, October 11th, 6-8 PM in the Library.  Meet with regional college admissions representatives and learn the ins and outs of getting into your dream school!  Participants will be coached in the practice of college admissions before breaking into groups to run their own “mock admissions committee” RSVP on the College and Career Center Haiku page.  See Mrs. Bergen for details!

  • Homecoming Dance tickets are now on sale.  This week prices will be $20 with ASB and $30 wo/ASB.  Avoid waiting in line by purchasing your ticket early.  You may not purchase a ticket if you currently owe any detention hours.   Detention is held on Thursday and Friday mornings at 7:30 and Tuesdays and Thursdays after school in room 20.  There is a Saturday School scheduled for this Saturday, October 7th at 7:30.
  • National Honor Society is meeting in room 61 today at lunch.
  • Wondering how you will pay for college?  Attend a financial aid workshop in the library tonight at 7PM.  For more information, stop by the College and Career Center.
  •  The Laguna Food Pantry Club is meeting today at lunch in room 85.
  • Attention Film Club members:  If you are interested in our Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights Trip or didn’t attend our first meeting, please stop by room 23 on Thursday during lunch.
  • Any students that dropped a first semester class must return their textbook by the end of the week.
  • The library will be closed on Friday morning before school due to a staff meeting.
  • The Karaoke Club is meeting in the band room at lunch today.  Everyone is welcome to join in or just come and watch!

Enter Reflections, PTA's nationally recognized creativity contest and express the theme...WITHIN REACH! .. DEADLINE  Friday OCT 27! Fliers available in the front office or online.
  • Volunteers are needed at the TOW Back to School BONANZA at TOW on Friday, October 6 from 3-6pm. Help is needed at various booths, including Food Crew, Beauty Bar, Fun Zone and Carnival Games. For more information on this and other community service opportunities, stop by the Activities Office.
