On June 27, the Laguna Beach Unified School District Board of Education unanimously approved the appointment of Ryan Zajda as director of facilities effective July 17. Zajda replaces Jeff Dixon who was promoted to assistant superintendent of business services in April.

On June 13, the Laguna Beach Unified School District Board of Education unanimously approved the appointment of Dr. Jason Allemann as principal of Laguna Beach High School effective July 1. Dr. Allemann has over 10 years of experience as a high school principal, currently serving as principal of Dana Hills High School.

The 2017-20 Draft LCAP is now available for review. In order to assure that all stakeholders are involved in the LCAP process, LBUSD would like to provide the opportunity for written feedback by completing an LCAP Feedback form. Additionally, there will be a Public Hearing regarding the LCAP on June 13, 2017, at 6:00 pm in the LBUSD Board Room.
