Our Mission:
The LBHS Social Studies Department seeks to provide our youth with a sense of the past and an understanding of the ideals on which political, economic, and social development has been based. Through this framework, they can develop the skills of critical thinking, problem solving and descision making that will enable them to creatively and intelligently meet the challenges of a changing world and become lifelong learners.
